Drug Uses
The drug is effective for the treatment of hair loss in the vertex and anterior mid–scalp area. However, it has not been seen if the drug works for receding hairlines at the temples. Propecia is for men only.

How Taken
Coming in tablet form, Propecia has to be taken one daily. You have to continue with the tablet till you physician asks you to stop. You should also take the right prescription, not less and no more.

Missed Dose
If you miss a dosage and remember it the same day, then you can take it. But if forgotten to take it till the next day, it is better to consult the doctor.

More Information
Do not share Propecia with others for whom it has not been prescribed. Always keep Propecia out of reach of children.

Warnings/Precautions
If you have liver disease, you have to tell the doctor, as he may be able to decide if it is safe for you to use the drug or not. The drug is not meant for women and if pregnant, or having chances of getting pregnant, do not take or handle it as the medication could be absorbed through the skin. These women should not handle broken or crushed Propecia tablets as it is known to cause birth defects in unborn babies.

Possible Side Effects
