Synthroid is not normally prescribed if you have adrenal problem, a thyroid disorder called thyrotoxicosis and heart attack. It is advised to take calcium carbonate drugs, iron supplements, sucralfate, sodium polystyrene sulfonate, antacids that contain aluminum and cholesterol-lowering drugs four hours after or before taking Synthroid.

You should have to stop taking Synthroid if you come across allergic reactions like rashes, breathing problems and swelling of lips, face, tongue or throat. He other serious side effects that come with the drug include fever, headache, sweating, insomnia, nervous feelings, hot flashes, changes in menstrual periods and weight changes.
